DTPG Tenants Training

On Wednesday 25 March 2009 the next Devon Tenant Participation Group training day will take place at the ISCA centre in Exeter. 

The training day will include a training workshop by Nigel Long of TPAS (the Tenant Participation Advisory Service). The workshop will be about Resident Led Self Regulation (RLSR) and I have enclosed a briefing note which explains what it is. The relevance of RLSR will become apparent when the Tenant Services Authority (TSA) takes over the regulation of council housing in 2010 and is a natural progression from the National Conversation which has recently been held by the TSA.

The afternoon consists of an update on the National Tenants Voice (NTV) by Nic Bliss, one of the steering group involved in setting up the NTV, who will be giving an update on the progress which has been made to date.
